All diversion around the construction area would be open from December 15, 2019. The announcement was made by Mr Funso Adebiyi the Director of the Federal highway, South West after his visit to trucks drivers pack in Ogere which located at Remo Ogun State. He also mention about 65 kilometers of the construction had  been completed. Also said 20 kilometers on section 1 from the old Toll Gate to Sagamu interchange  was being handle by Julius Berger and 45 kilometers on second section from interchange to Ibadan which handle by RCC Construction company.
